Kristen H.

Kristen completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences at University of Oregon. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Pacific University. Kristen has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2015.

Kristen’s favorite parts about being an SLP are developing relationships with families, parent coaching, treating language delays and speech sound disorders. Being DIR Floortime certified, Kristen believes in using a child’s interests and movement activities to support purposeful communication. She is also PROMPT trained and uses foundations of Orofacial Myology in her assessment and treatment.

Kristen enjoys the funny things kids say during therapy sessions and wants to see all kids be successful communicators. Outside of work, Kristen spends time paddle boarding, hiking, visiting coffee shops and enjoys interior design.
