speech language therapy

speech/language therapy

Individual therapy is provided in our clinic-based setting and is one-on-one with a certified speech-language pathologist. We always invite families and caregivers to be an active member of the team and therapy sessions. Our sessions are scheduled for 30-50 minutes and frequency is determined based on the need of each individual and as a team with the family.

Sound Disorders

Sound disorders can be a challenge for those who experience them. These disorders can affect a person's ability to communicate effectively and can impact their daily life. However, with proper diagnosis and treatment, individuals with sound disorders can improve their communication skills and lead fulfilling lives.

Speech therapy is a common treatment for apraxia, a motor disorder that affects a person's ability to speak. A speech-language pathologist can work with individuals to improve their ability to plan and coordinate the movements needed for speech.
