Upcoming Reading Webinar:
Supporting Struggling Readers March 16th | 9:00–9:30 AM (plus 15-minute Q&A)
Join us for a friendly and informative Dyslexia and reading webinar created for parents, teachers, and school administrators. This session will be co-hosted by Erin Bricker, SLP Sunbreak
reading specialist, and Marie McMahon, clinical psychologist, who will share their combined expertise to offer a well-rounded , practical perspective on dyslexia and reading development.
During the webinar, Erin and Marie will discuss:
An overview of Dyslexia, Specific Learning Disorder, and other reading difficulties that may not yet be formally identified
Early warning signs to look for at home and in the classroom The process for getting help, including what to expect during an evaluation
What happened after an evaluation and how results guide next steps
An overview of evidenced-based reading intervention
The benefits of early intervention and why starting early is especially critical for reading success
Practical strategies and tips families can try at home while seeking support
This webinar is ideal for anyone sporting a child’s reading development and looking for clear guidance, practical tools, and reassurance about next steps.
