Marie M.

Clinical Psychologist

Ph.D.

503-908-6120

Dr. Marie McMahon is a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Washington who works with
children and families navigating disability. Her passion for disability rights, Special
Education, and neurodiversity began early, shaped by her experience as the older sibling
of an individual who is blind. She has rich clinical experience, including more than 25 years
specializing in the Autism Spectrum.

For more than a decade, she had a private practice focused on social development and
behavioral health for children with autism, nonverbal learning disabilities, anxiety, and
ADHD. Over the past twelve years, she has worked in healthcare systems, providing
developmental and interdisciplinary evaluations, and offering support to children and their
families.

She is now thrilled to be part of Sunbreak, where she enjoys the connection and
collaboration of a smaller team-based setting.

Dr. McMahon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Creative Writing from the
University of Arizona (Bear Down!) and completed her master’s and Doctor of Psychology
(Psy.D.) degrees at Pacific University.

Outside of work, Dr. McMahon enjoys reading, puzzles, and spending time with her family.
She’s a self-proclaimed stress baker. She has been known to go on walks. She loves to
laugh; if you know any jokes, she’d love to hear them.
