Chris received her Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, and began her pediatric OT career working in school and center-based settings, with children ages 0 to 21. She has also worked in the home and community environments, with infants, toddlers and their families, through Early Childhood Intervention. For the past several years, her work with kids and families has been in the outpatient therapy clinic with children of all ages and ability levels.
Areas of focus include self-regulation and social-emotional development, issues with attention, anxiety, frustration tolerance, addressing Sensory Processing Disorders, movement and coordination skills.
When not engaged as part of a team of professionals and families, to help kids discover their own strengths and joys, Chris enjoys being with family, friends, and pets, delicious food, good music, and the great outdoors.
