Want to try something a little different? This is a hybrid position based in the clinic and in the schools.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP

  • Carry out IEP-based therapy activities designed by the SLP (school)

  • Carry out treatment plan activities designed by the SLP in clinic

  • Document child's progress and maintain accurate records

  • Support data collection for progress monitoring

  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom

  • Assist in preparing materials and scheduling sessions

  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines for service delivery and documentation

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Current SLPA license/certification through [state licensing board, e.g., Oregon Board of Examiners for SLP & Audiology]

  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Sessions are in-person at the school and clinic and through teletherapy.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Exceptional verbal and written skills.

  • Demonstrates competency to set own schedule, work independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Ability to perform bilingual services a plus
