Sunbreak Therapy Services is looking for an OT with experience working with Autism/ ADHD, Executive functioning, Sensory regulation, feeding needs!

We fully support continuing your professional development and encourage our therapists to keep learning new treatment techniques to be as effective as possible.

We are a growing private practice seeking another Occupational Therapist. We have openings at our Portland and Beaverton locations.

Opportunities to add to your experience include: collaborating with OTs and SLPs, help grow needed programs in a variety of areas (feeding groups, social skill groups, motor groups, community education), work directly with the families of clients to make faster progress toward goals, and work with a variety of diagnoses.

 

Pediatric caseload largely consists of sensory needs, ADHD, autism, variety of diagnoses.

Job Requirements:

  • Provide direct therapy services and evaluations

  • Communicate/collaborate with our team of Speech Language Pathologists, other medical professionals and parents

  • Provide timely documentation of therapy sessions, evaluation reports and progress reports

  • Work closely with families to support them through the therapy process

  • Be willing to continue to learn and grow your therapy skills

  • Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the patient; Life Skills, Daily Living, Sensory, Special Needs, etc..

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from a school of Occupational Therapy accredited with the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association preferred

  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure through the State of Oregon -OR- temporary license if new graduate awaiting licensing exam results

 

Education:

  • Masters Degree.

  • Licensure/Certification:

  • Current applicable (OR) state license as an Occupational Therapist required.

  • CPR certification recommended.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Exceptional verbal and written skills.

  • Demonstrates competency to work independently.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong computer skills.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $67,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
